Compline ~ Night Prayer ~ October 25th

We are delighted to announce a wonderful event at St Mary’s, Old Town, Eastbourne. We look forward to welcoming The Rev’d Fergus Butler-Gallie to St Mary’s. Mthr Arwen first met Fergus while training at Westcott House and knows him to be a gifted and engaging speaker. His books Touching Cloth, A Field Guide to the English Clergy, and most recent work Twelve Churches have delighted and instructed the Church in equal measure. All are warmly invited to hear Fergus’ talk at 3pm followed by drinks and then we welcome Fergus as Guest Preacher at 6pm Choral Evensong on Sunday, 11 January 2026.

Our Flower Guild pulled out all the stops for our Harvest Festival weekend. Our thanks go to them and to all who donated food which was taken to the Matthew 25 Mission yesterday.
