One for the record - St Mary’s inaugurates a history group to bring the years, events and personal stories together. A wonderful group of people met in the historic Old Parsonage today at the first meeting for a St Mary’s History group. Led by Kevin Gordon, local historian, we look forward to seeing how the group will develop. The next meeting will take place on 12th February at 11.30am.

🎶 Do you love singing? 🎶 Are you aged between 8-15? St Mary’s Junior Choir is holding a ‘come and try’ session from 6.45-7.15pm on Thursday 15th January in the Old Parsonage. St Mary’s Junior Choir is run by qualified music teachers and dbs checked volunteers. It offers young people a free musical education and a chance to sing! Compline ~ Night Prayer for Epiphanytide

Room / Office to rent: we have a good sized room now available for full-time rent in the Old Parsonage Barn by a small business or charitable organisation. Eastbourne Talking Newspapers were our previous tenant but after many years of sterling service to the community they have now closed and vacated the room. 20 + C + M + B + 26 Epiphany chalk is ready and will be blessed at the 9.45am service tomorrow. Do take some home to pray a blessing over your door and your household. At the 3.30pm Family Mass, Mthr Arwen and our families will chalk the doors of the North Cloister and the Old Parsonage. A basket of blessed chalk will remain in church throughout the week for anyone who would like to collect some. Chalking the door at Epiphany is a simple, ancient prayer. The letters recall the Magi and also the words Christus mansionem benedicat May Christ bless this house.
