Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care
Life brings moments of joy, sorrow, change, and challenge. In each of these seasons, you do not need to walk alone. Our pastoral care ministry is here to offer listening, prayer, and support. Whether you are navigating grief, facing illness, celebrating a new beginning, or simply in need of someone to walk alongside you, we are committed to meeting you with compassion and hope.
Our trained pastoral team, (pictured at their commissioning above) under the guidance of our lay reader Vicky Peattie, is here to serve the whole community. We can offer space for conversation, prayer, and support. Where appropriate, this care may include the ministry of Holy Communion in the home, or the priest to bring anointing for healing, the sacrament of reconciliation, or the last rites. Each of these is offered with reverence and love, affirming God’s presence in every season of life. We also exercise a ministry in local Care Homes and visits to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
If you would like to speak with someone, request a visit, or explore how we can support you, please do get in touch. You will be met with dignity, prayer, and the assurance that you are not alone.
